RegulatorsDubai: Dubai Land Department (DLD) and its regulator, RERA. Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC), with the DARI platform. Ras Al Khaimah: the Municipality’s Lands and Properties Sector.
Off-plan registerIn Dubai the developer registers each off-plan sale on the interim register, known as Oqood (Law 13 of 2008, amended by Law 19 of 2020). In Abu Dhabi, expressions of interest for new projects are registered on Madhmoun.
EscrowBuyer payments for off-plan projects go into a project escrow account and are released against construction progress (Dubai Law 8 of 2007; RAK Law 12 of 2023).
Who can buyForeign buyers can own freehold in designated areas: freehold areas in Dubai, investment zones in Abu Dhabi such as Saadiyat, Yas and Al Reem, and freehold areas in RAK such as Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra.
AdvertisingIn Dubai, property ads need a Trakheesi permit from DLD.
UnitsPlots and units are listed in square feet; title documents also use square metres. Prices are in AED.

Most new homes are sold before completion, with a booking deposit and instalments tied to construction milestones and handover. Every instalment has a due date to chase.

Can zeplot show a villa community or an off-plan master plan, not only plots?

Yes. We draw from your master plan or layout drawing (PDF, DWG or DXF). Each villa plot, townhouse or building plot becomes a clickable unit with its number, size and status, placed on the real satellite view of the site.

Does the map replace the DLD or Trakheesi requirements?

No. zeplot is a sales tool. Registrations on Oqood or Madhmoun, escrow and advertising permits still apply. Where a permit number must appear on an ad, add it to the ad that carries your map link.

Where is the zeplot team?

Our team works from India and serves developers abroad remotely: demos on WhatsApp or video, and the map is usually live within 24 hours of receiving your drawing. India is 1.5 hours ahead of the UAE, so working hours overlap almost completely.

Can overseas buyers use the map without installing anything?

Yes. It is a web link that opens on any phone or computer. You can share it on WhatsApp, in emails, in ads or as a QR code at your sales centre.
